Judson Women's Track & Field Team, Alarcon and Cisneros receive national academic honors

Judson University issued the following announcement on July 22

Judson University's Women's Track & Field Team earned national recognition from the USATFCCCA by qualifying for the Scholar Team Recognition with a 3.0 team average GPA. In addition, two additional athletes qualified for individual honors as Maria Alarcon and Nayeli Cisneros both earned honors for achieving GPA's well above the 3.2 minnimum threshold and also qualified for the NAIA National Championships in race walk. 

"Nayeli and Maria both continue to be excellent leaders as students and athletes on Judson University's campus. They have built long-lasting legacies in our department with their all-around success while at Judson University. We could not be any prouder of these two athletes." said Austin Anderson, Judson University Director of Athletic Communications. "The entire women's team deserves recognition for consistently being a top-25 NAIA Track & Field program, while also continuing to reach high academic standards. A job well done!" 

 Judson athletic competitions return in late August.
