Cost of college went up for all students at Judson University

Tuition and fees rose 1.4 percent for 2018-19 at Judson University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $29,860 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $426 more than the $29,434 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 169 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.2 million and 130 students took out student loans totaling more than $1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,256), 568 students used grants or scholarships totaling $14.5 million, and 731 students took out $5 million in federal student loans.
