Illinois reveals finalists for new state flag design

The Illinois Flag Commission has disclosed the ten finalists in the competition to design a new state flag. In January, the public will have the opportunity to express their preference for one of these designs, or opt for the existing state flag or one of Illinois' historical flags.

The commission aims to engage residents in selecting a design that best represents the state's identity and heritage.
