State Representative Dan Ugaste and State Senator Don DeWitte are organizing a community event on Saturday, June 28. The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army Tri-City Corps Joe K. Anderson Community Center in St. Charles.
The initiative offers constituents an opportunity to securely dispose of documents like old bank records and receipts. In addition, non-perishable food items will be collected for the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
A shredding truck will be available on-site until 11 a.m., or until it reaches capacity.
