Illinois' tax credit scholarship program, known as Invest in Kids, has reportedly resulted in significant savings for the state. According to recent findings, "for every dollar spent on the Invest in Kids scholarship program between fiscal years 2018 and 2022, the state saved between $1.81 and $2.87, respectively."
