There were 6,452 Asian students enrolled in Kane County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, 0.5% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Asian students made up 5.9% of the 110,118 students in Kane County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the third most represented ethnicity.

Among the 10 districts in Kane County, School District U-46 recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 2,990 students.
