AURORA DOWNTOWN CELEBRATES NATIONAL POETRY MONTH WITH STOREFRONT POEMS BY A DOZEN LOCAL POETS

DOWNTOWN AURORA - In celebration of National Poetry Month, Aurora Downtown will feature a dozen poems in downtown storefronts throughout April. 

Poet Laureate and Aurora Downtown board member Karen Christensen put out a call to local poets for poetry with the theme “rebirth.”

Christensen selected a dozen poems by the following local poets which will be featured in storefront windows as part of a self-guided walking tour during April.

Stolp Ave. Simone Barnes at Wardell Art and Glass Studio, 28 S. Stolp Ave. Susan Schubert at Christian Science Reading Room, 34 S. Stolp Ave. Donna Zine at All Spoked Up, 14 W. Downer Pl. Suite 10. Carrol Roark at Wyckwood House, 14 W. Downer Pl. Suite 16. Brian Olsberg at Tredwell Coffee, 14 W. Downer Pl. Suite 18. Tricia Cimera at GAR Museum, 23 E. Downer Pl.
