City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Apr. 6.
The City of Batavia will be flushing fire hydrants during the month of April. Signs will be posted in neighborhoods during the flushing week as a reminder.
Hydrant Flushing WEST of the Fox River will take place during the week of:
April 5 – April 16, 2021
Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Hydrant Flushing EAST of the Fox River will take place during the week of:
April 19, 2021 – April 30, 2021
Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Citizens are reminded to check their water prior to washing any clothes since rusty water is possible. We regret any inconvenience to our customers while this work is in progress. Please call the Batavia Water Department at 630-454-2450 if you have any questions or to report any problems.
