City of Aurora issued the following announcement on June 6.
After reviewing conditions in Aurora and surrounding communities, the curfew scheduled to take effect tonight, Saturday, June 6, at 10 p.m. has been canceled. No additional curfew hours are scheduled at this time.
Travel restrictions have also been removed from downtown Aurora. Traffic modifications will remain in place at Fox Valley Mall during the overnight hours.
Residents and businesses should remain alert and report unusual activity to 9-1-1.
