Batavia Park District issued the following announcement on June 27.
Kids of all ages are invited to spike, set, and serve by participating in games at Beach Ball Bonanza on July 19 from 12:30 to 4 pm at Hall Quarry Beach. Come compete to win awesome prizes! The first 100 people who enter Hall Quarry Beach will receive a free beach ball.
Beach ball games will be played during resting periods and will include relay races, beach ball volleyball, a Bozo bucket game, and more! There will also be an activity for participants to decorate their own beach ball with markers and stickers. The event will include a special on-site photo booth for individuals to take fun pictures with their friends.
Beach Ball Bonanza is included in the daily admission rates, which is $8 for residents and $11 for non-residents. Individuals can also enter using their Quarry season passes. Patrons can also pick up a special Buy One, Get One Free Daily Admission voucher to the Quarry at either the Batavia Civic Center or Eastside Community Center. Hall Quarry Beach is located at 400 S. Water St.
