• Earth Day Event 2018
i. April 21, 2018 at Peck Farm Park, 11 to 3pm
• Eastside Fire Station Natural Landscaping Project
i. Met Dan Ludwig to review landscape – in general, it looks good. Dan has cut trees and removed phragmites heads throughout.
ii. There are a number of small oaks growing, decided to leave them in place.
• River Clean-up Day
i. Next date will be last Sunday of September, 2018, aligned with World River Day.
ii. Sponsors for t-shirts?
• Rain Barrels for sale
i. Barrels are $75 each
• Rain Barrels on Parade
i. Next event will be some time in future
• Greening Geneva Initiative
i. American Artists planted three trees in planter on State St.
ii. Sebert will plant two tree pits in downtown and one tree at Doughacracy by midNovember
iii. Wasco will plant trees along Western Avenue 10/31 and 11/1.
1. Fire Chief did not want trees in front of fire station. Moved flags to parkway in front of Western Avenue School.
• Wine, Cheese, and Trees.
i. Date is set for February 24, 2018.
ii. Persinger is reserved.
iii. Start collecting wine for the wine wall and live auction.
• Fabyan Preserve Stewardship
i. Work days are November 4th and 18th
