The City of Aurora is seeking volunteers for its Senior Shovel program, known as Operation Senior Shovel. This initiative helps senior citizens and people with disabilities by providing snow shoveling services during the winter months.

The city encourages residents to participate in this effort to support neighbors who may need assistance with clearing their driveways when it snows. Volunteers are needed throughout the winter season to ensure that those unable to shovel due to age or disability can safely access their homes.

Operation Senior Shovel aims to strengthen community ties while addressing the practical needs of vulnerable populations during harsh weather conditions.

For more information on how to volunteer or receive help from Operation Senior Shovel, residents can contact the City of Aurora directly.
