Central Community Unit School District 301, which serves areas in Kane and DeKalb counties, recently highlighted job openings and celebrated staff achievements through a series of posts on its official Twitter account.

On October 2, 2025, the district recognized its custodial and maintenance teams in honor of National Custodian Day: "Happy National Custodian Day!

Central Community Unit School District 301 encompasses several schools including Central High School and Prairie View Grade School. According to state education data, it employs about 280 teachers with an average salary of $58,199. The workforce is predominantly female and has low teacher absenteeism rates. The student population is diverse—65.3 percent White, 16.5 percent Hispanic, 12.2 percent Asian, and 2.1 percent Black—and per-student spending in recent years was $19,244 for a total expenditure of nearly $85 million ([source](https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/)).
