Aurora's African American Men of Unity (AAMOU) has received a donation from the Jesse White Foundation as part of the "Off To College Trunk Party" initiative. The program aims to support 500 college-bound students in the Chicagoland area by providing them with care packages.

The Jesse White Foundation provides each student with over 50 items, such as bed linens, towels, school supplies, and toiletries. Students also have a chance to win electronic devices through a raffle.

According to the foundation, since 2015, more than 160 electronic devices including iPads, laptop computers, printers, tablets, and televisions have been distributed to winners through this program.

"Congratulations to Aurora's AAMOU on working with the Jesse White Foundation to receive these critical donations as the new school year is set to begin!"
