Batavia Public Library is organizing a Community Day event on Saturday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Founders Room. The event will bring together several organizations to help residents complete important tasks in one location.

The Illinois Tollway I-PASS on Demand team will be present to assist with setting up new accounts, updating license plates, and distributing new sticker tags that are replacing transponders.

The Illinois Treasurer’s Office will offer ICASH searches at the event, giving attendees an opportunity to find and claim unclaimed property.

Representatives from the Citizens Utility Board, Illinois Attorney General’s Office, and RTA—including Pace Bus and Metra—will be available to answer questions and provide information about their services. The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry will also participate by sharing details about local assistance programs.

More information can be found at the Batavia Public Library's website: https://bataviapubliclibrary.org/.
