Aurora Animal Care and Control is providing free pet microchipping services to all residents in the Aurora area. This initiative is made possible through a grant from Petco Love, a national nonprofit organization.

Kameron DeBoer, Animal Care and Control Manager, highlighted the benefits of this service: “A microchipped pet is three times more likely to return home to their pet parents. Thanks to Petco Love, we will be able to offer free microchips to our community, supporting their safety and helping us keep pets in their homes with their families who love them.”

Residents can access these services at the City of Aurora IL Animal Care and Control every Wednesday through Friday from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 311.
