The city is preparing for its Fourth of July Fireworks Show, scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 3, from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. Two locations have been designated for viewing the fireworks: the Aurora Transportation Center at 233 N. Broadway Avenue and McCullough Park at 150 W. Illinois Avenue. Both sites will feature food trucks and DJs.
Free park-and-ride shuttles will be available, providing round-trip services from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M., allowing attendees to reach both fireworks locations conveniently. Shuttle services will resume after the fireworks display, with the final departures scheduled for 11 P.M.
In addition, "the RiverEdge Park Pedestrian Bridge will be temporarily opened that day," allowing spectators to cross over and watch the fireworks show from the Aurora Transportation Center.
It is important to note that "the ATC lot will be CLOSED beginning at 1 A.M. on July 3rd." Commuters are advised to use the RT.59 Train Station located at 1090 Illinois Route 59, Aurora, IL.
"We can't wait to celebrate with you all!" organizers expressed in anticipation of the event.
