Senator Don DeWitte of St. Charles will collaborate with Anderson Humane of South Elgin to host a Pet Adoption Fair. The event is set for Saturday, May 10, allowing visitors to interact with pets eligible for adoption and possibly begin the adoption process on the same day.
“People searching for the perfect pet do not need to look any further than their local animal shelter,” said DeWitte. “Rescued pets are so grateful when they are adopted, and they make wonderful companions.”
The Pet Adoption Fair will take place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at St. Charles Hardware-Do It Best, located at 3619 East Main Street, St. Charles.
“I hope to see a large turnout for this event, and that many pets from Anderson Humane find a forever home.”
