City of Geneva City Council met September 16.

      All Items listed with an asterisk (*) are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a council member so requests in which event the item will be removed from the Omnibus (Consent) Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. All items on the Omnibus Agenda require a simple majority vote unless otherwise indicated.

9. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE ITEMS OF BUSINESS

      *a. Approve Resolution No. 2024-92 Authorizing the Execution of a License Agreement with MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC.

      *b. Approve Ordinance No. 2024-35 Amending Title 4 (Business and License Regulations), Chapter 2 (Liquor Control), Section 11 (License Classifications), Subsection D of the Geneva City Code Establishing a Class D-9 Liquor License for the Geneva Library District.

10. PRESENTATION OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

      a. Consider Ordinance No. 2024-36 Amending Title 7 (Traffic and Motor Vehicles), Chapter 4 (Traffic Schedules), Schedule 7 (No Parking Places) of the Geneva City Code Prohibiting Parking on the East Side of Evernia Court, Fifty Feet (50’) from Eklund Avenue.

      b. Consider Resolution No. 2024-93 Authorizing the Purchase of Four 2025 Ford Police Interceptor Vehicles in an Amount Not to Exceed $246,568.92 Inclusive of Transfer, Purchase, and Installation of Equipment and Exterior Graphics.
