Chicago Metro reports highest unemployment rate in U.S., says BLS

The new Bureau of Labor Statistics report notes the Chicago Metropolitan Area’s 6.2% unemployment as the highest in the country.

“It's time for a serious change in approach to bring real economic recovery and job growth to our communities.”

Chicago and Illinois have among the highest unemployment rates in the country, according to Fox Business.
