The regular meeting of City of Geneva DEI Taskforce was called to order by Chair Nuzzo-Ericksen at 5:34 p.m.

Roll Call

Taskforce Members Present: Albert, Cervenka, Forst, Gramlich, Nuzzo-Ericksen Also Present: City Administrator Dawkins, SPAC Liaison Kafer

None.

Review Comments on Draft Report

SPAC Liaison Kafer reported that the feedback from SPAC was that they were pleased with what was  presented. There were also positive comments regarding the Ethos report.

Other comments included that there was a general feeling that there needed to be more than the  belonging commission, rather it should be a city employee who would drive the process and serve as  liaison to a new commission.

Overall, it was agreed that this (the report) can’t be the end and that we don’t want to lose any  momentum.

Ashley and Ethos will present the final report to the City Council at their Strategic Planning Workshop on  November 3, 2023.

New Business/Public Comment

Final meeting of the Task Force scheduled for December 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Adjournment

Meeting adjourned at 6:33 p.m. upon motion by Albert.
