Attend a Come-and-Go Community Engagement Session About Waste, Recycling and Organics Services on November 2

Elgin, IL - Share your ideas and feedback about waste, recycling and organics services at a come-and-go community engagement session at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 2. The event will be held in the Heritage Ballroom in the Edward Shock Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way. Guests will have an opportunity to share any additional ideas or feedback and ask questions. A Spanish translator will be in attendance. Resident input is important as the City prepares its request for proposal to secure waste hauler services beginning in 2025. The City's current contract expires at the end of 2024. Input gathered will be compiled with the City's recent online survey, which ran from July 14 to September 1.
