City of Geneva City Council met September 18.

Here is the agenda as provided by the council:

      All Items listed with an asterisk (*) are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a council member so requests in which event the item will be removed from the Omnibus (Consent) Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the Agenda. All items on the Omnibus Agenda require a simple majority vote unless otherwise indicated.

a. Consider Resolution No. 2023-97 Authorizing Acceptance of Proposal from Berglund Construction to Perform Repairs to the South First Street Retaining Wall in an Amount Not-to-Exceed $74,250.

*b. Approve Resolution No. 2023-98 Authorizing the Execution of a License Agreement with MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC.

*c. Approve Ordinance No. 2023-17 Amending Title 1 (Administrative), Chapter 8 (Municipal Finances), Article A (Bidding and Contract Procedures) of the Geneva City Code

10. PRESENTATION OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

a. Consider Resolution No. 2023-99 Rejecting a Bid from Haughland Energy Group, LLC for the Construction of Geneva Business Park III Substation.

b. Consider Resolution No. 2023-100 Authorizing the Conveyance of Certain City of Geneva Properties and License Agreements to the State of Illinois Department of Transportation.

c. Consider Resolution No. 2023-101 Accepting the Quit Claim Deed from Ruth V. Clapper-Geneva Business Park.
