The Aurora University men's and women's basketball programs each had student-athletes named to the 2022-2023 CSC-CoSIDA Academic All-District team. The selections are made based on their combined performances in the classroom and on the field.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Spartan basketball student-athletes Sam Barrett and Eliot Dojutrek were recognized for their combined academic and athletic efforts.
The Aurora University women's basketball team finished the 2022-2023 season with a 21-5 overall record and went 15-3 in the NACC.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
Spartan basketball senior student-athletes JT Daniels and Nathan Yockey were recognized for their combined academic and athletic efforts.
The Aurora University men's basketball team finished the 2022-2023 season with a 12-12 overall record and 7-10 in the NACC.
CSC/CoSIDA Academic All-District
The Academic All-District teams are selected by CoSIDA member sports information directors within the district based on the student-athletes' academic prowess while being a steady influence on their respective athletic field. To be considered for the honor, the nominated student-athletes are required to maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average throughout their academic career at AU. The Spartans will now move on to the Academic All-America selection process.
