Visit a free and family-friendly Trick or Treat event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 in downtown Aurora.
Aurora Downtown will host its annual Trick or Treat Downtown event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Costumes are encouraged, and all ages and abilities are welcome. Aurora Downtown first hosted the event in 2015, and it has since become a family favorite.
The free event invites families to dress up and visit more than 40 participating locations in downtown Aurora. Small businesses, museums, and several restaurants will be open with treats.
The event coincides with Sugar Skull City, a downtown-wide Day of the Dead celebration, and visitors can view ofrendas, painted storefronts, and more.
Participants can pick up a map at Santori Public Library, Aurora Regional Fire Museum, and the David L. Pierce Art and History Center. Trick or Treaters should bring their own bag for candy and other treats.
Locations will have orange paper pumpkins on their doors. The event is rain or shine.
