The American Association of State Troopers (AAST) opened for votes toward its 2022 Best Looking Cruiser Calendar Contest — a “bragging rights” opportunity for the Illinois State Police, Rep. Jeff Keicher said on Facebook.

“Voting will run through 4 p.m. CST (on) Aug. 25,” Keicher wrote on Facebook. “The top 13 states receiving votes will be featured (in) the respective months on the 2023 American Association of State Troopers Calendar. The top state will adorn the cover in addition to the month of January 2023.”

According to WSILTV,  the competition’s winner will grace the front of the following AAST calendar.

All AAST calendar sales proceeds will go toward the American Association of State Troopers Foundation.

Keicher was first elected to the Illinois House in 2018. A Republican, his legislative experience includes serving on the Appropriations-Higher Education and Immigration & Human Rights Committee. Keicher is a state representative who resides in DeKalb, according to the Illinois House.

Keicher ran during the June primary election for the Republican nomination uncontested and is running uncontested again for the November general election. His term is expected to end in January 2023, according to Ballotpedia.
