Former Kane County prosecutor Sosnowski endorses Noverini for Supreme Court

Noverini for Supreme Court has issued the following press release:

Carpentersville, IL – Former Kane County prosecutor Drew Sosnowski says the mark of a good judge is fairness and an understanding of the law and for these reasons, he is endorsing Judge John Noverini for the Illinois Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District.

“Fairness to me is one of the most important qualities for a judge,” Sosnowski said. “Judge John Noverini treats everyone who comes into his courtroom with dignity and respect. He also has a deep understanding of the law. Judge John Noverini has the knowledge, the experience and most importantly, the right temperament to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court.”

Drew Sosnowski has been an attorney for 32 years having served as a prosecutor in Kane County for 9 years and in McHenry County for 3 years. He also has practiced law in Kendall, DeKalb, and Lake Counties. He is the former General Counsel of the National Insurance Crime Bureau and currently serves as General Counsel of Volunteers of America. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Elgin Community College since 2001 and he is the leader of the Rite of Christian Initiation at St. Hubert’s Church in Hoffman Estates.

Judge John Noverini is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. He earned his Master of Arts in History from Northeastern Illinois University and a Juris Doctor from IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law. Judge Noverini was first elected to the bench in 2008. His judicial experience includes having served as the Presiding Judge of the Family Law Division, Presiding Judge of the Criminal Law Division, and Presiding Judge of Probate, Guardianship, Traffic and Mental Health Courts.
