Illinois Supreme Court candidate Judge John Noverini recently had an opportunity to address the attendees at a showing of the film “Unplanned” at a Sanctity of Human Life event.

"Unplanned" is the story of Abby Johnson who was one of the youngest Planned Parenthood clinic directors in the nation until the day she saw something that changed her mindset. Today, Johnson is one of the most ardent pro-life speakers in America.

"Judge John Noverini recently received the endorsement and support of long-time Kane County pro-life activist Vivian Maly, the director of TLC Pregnancy Services in Elgin," reads a Jan. 27 post on the judge's Facebook page. Maly called Noverini a "a God fearing man," and said that he is "the right man at the right place and the right time to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court."

"Our campaign has been endorsed by Vivian Maly, who is a very godly woman," Judge Noverini said. "She runs the TLC Pregnancy Services in Elgin and has been involved in the pro-life movement for more than 40 years. My wife Saray and I have supported Vivian's ministry for the past 20 years.

Noverini currently serves as a circuit court trial judge in the 16th Judicial Circuit, Kane County, Illinois. He has been a member of the bench for more than 13 years and has 34 years of legal experience. He has previously served as the presiding judge of the family law division, presiding judge of a criminal division-domestic violence/DUI/traffic court and presiding judge of probate, guardianship, traffic and mental health courts.

A life-long Illinoisan, Noverini is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. He earned his master of arts in history from Northeastern Illinois University and a juris doctor degree from IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law.

The judge and his wife, Saray Rodriguez Noverini, are long-time residents of Kane County. The couple has done charitable work with orphanages and other non-profit organizations in numerous countries around the world.

The Sanctity of Human Life event was sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
