City of St. Charles issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
The Pumpkin Smash is an effort by communities to divert pumpkins from landfills by providing a location for residents to drop-off pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns to be composted. Don’t Trash it, Smash it! This is a drive through event, but masks are required.
