Analysis: St. Charles pays $5.84 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Campton Hills Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 85.4 percent of the $274,035 the Campton Hills Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $5.84 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, St. Charles contributed $234,000 to the fund, which saw a $26,521 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $40,036, or 14.6 percent, in 2018.
