Analysis: East Dundee pays $5.43 for every $1 pensioners contribute to East Dundee Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 84.8 percent of the $640,661 the East Dundee Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $5.43 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, East Dundee contributed $543,025 to the fund, which saw a $65,490 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $99,961, or 15.6 percent, in 2018.
