Analysis: West Dundee pays $4.73 for every $1 pensioners contribute to West Dundee Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.6 percent of the $843,922 the West Dundee Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.73 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, West Dundee contributed $696,708 to the fund, which saw a $126,325 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $147,214, or 17.4 percent, in 2018.
