There were two offenders convicted of property crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 60506 during the first half of 2019, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Kane County Reporter.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 60506 were women. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old woman sentenced in 2016. The other was a 40-year-old woman sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Jennifer E. Phillips. She was convicted of a property crime in 2016 when she was 31 years old. She is now 34.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
