City of Elgin issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.
Do you have old coats and winter wear that you don't want anymore? Don't throw them out - donate them at any of our seven Elgin Fire Department, Elgin, Illinois stations!
Collected items will be donated to the Elgin Community Crisis Center, and they're being collected until December 25th. Help your fellow Elginites stay warm this winter
