City of St. Charles issued the following announcement on Aug. 1.
Walkers, bikers, runners please note: The covered pedestrian bridge by the trestle near the police station will be closed Thursday, Friday and Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The bridge will be open over the weekend. A contractor for the City will be working on some high voltage lines on the east side of the bridge.
