The data shows that all of the released offenders in Carol Stream were men. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee is a 28-year-old man sentenced for financial crimes or fraud in 2017, and the oldest is a 39-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving alcohol in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Ricky F. Kelly. He was convicted of crimes involving one or more weapons in 2015 when he was 34 years old. He is now 37.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
