City of Batavia issued the following announcement on Jan. 28.
Kane County is closing electronics recycling drop-off locations for two days this week due to the extreme weather. Both drop-off sites, at 517 E Fabyan Parkway in Batavia and at the West Dundee Public Works at 900 Angle Tarn in West Dundee, will be closed for business on Wednesday, 1/30 and Thursday, 1/31. We apologize for any inconvenience and plan to reopen on Friday, 2/1 during regular business hours of 8 am to 4 pm.
