City of Aurora issued the following announcement on July 23.
Join the Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council, Inc. in the celebration of 46 years of Puerto Rican Heritage in Aurora at the Aurora Puerto Rican Festival 2018!
Rich in culture and explosive in pride, this two-day event will be filled with great music, food, vendors and entertainment for the entire family.
FESTIVAL
RiverEdge Park 360 N Broadway Street
• Saturday, July 28, 2018: 12 noon–10 p.m.
• Sunday, July 29, 2018: 1-9 p.m.
PARADE
The parade is the highlight and central focus of the festival. The parade steps-off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 29, at the corner of River and Benton Streets; the reviewing stage will be in front of the Pierce Art and History Center on Downer Place.
