Pritchard praised after his final bill passes unanimously

Rep. Robert Pritchard (R-Sycamore) will be missed on the House floor by Rep. William Davis (D-East Hazel Crest).

“This is your last bill of this session, and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated working with you on education funding and all the great things you did to make sure [that] children will have a great opportunity here in the state of Illinois,” Davis said of HB 5247 on May 31.

Davis gave Pritchard a plaque to show his appreciation.

“I would like to take the opportunity to present this little token of my affection to you for all of your hard work on education funding,” Davis said.

HB 5247 passed unanimously 109-0, making Pritchard's final bill a success.
