State Rep. Steve Andersson supports the ERA measure.
Illinois State Reps. Steven Andersson (R-Geneva) and Robert Pritchard (R-Hinckley) voted in support of the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment,” helping to pass the measure 72-45.
They were two of 10 House Republicans who voted Wednesday in favor of the resolution, which has been aggressively lobbied for by groups like Women's March Chicago.
Neither Andersson nor Pritchard is seeking re-election.
