Analysis: West Dundee pays $3.58 for every $1 pensioners contribute to West Dundee Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.2 percent of the $662,644 the West Dundee Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.58 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, West Dundee contributed $518,055 to the fund, which saw a $44,074 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $144,589, or 21.8 percent, in 2016.
