Analysis: Sugar Grove pays $2.69 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Sugar Grove Fpd Firefighter's Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 72.9 percent of the $448,053 the Sugar Grove Fpd Firefighter's Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.69 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Sugar Grove contributed $326,769 to the fund, which saw a $29,621 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $121,234, or 27.1 percent, in 2016. Another $50 came from other unspecified sources.
