Analysis: Carpentersville pays $4.51 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Rutland/Dundee Twps Fpd Firefighter's Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.9 percent of the $288,986 the Rutland/Dundee Twps Fpd Firefighter's Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.51 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Carpentersville contributed $236,573 to the fund, which saw a $10,996 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $52,413, or 18.1 percent, in 2016.
