Analysis: Hampshire pays $4.34 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Hampshire Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.3 percent of the $233,831 the Hampshire Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.34 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Hampshire contributed $190,088 to the fund, which saw a $1,915 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $43,743, or 18.7 percent, in 2016.
