Analysis: Elburn pays $3.92 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Elburn Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.7 percent of the $189,533 the Elburn Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.92 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Elburn contributed $151,016 to the fund, which saw a $266 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $38,517, or 20.3 percent, in 2016.
