Analysis: East Dundee pays $6.67 for every $1 pensioners contribute to East Dundee/Countryside Fpd Firefighters Pension F

Taxpayers contributed 87 percent of the $257,058 the East Dundee/Countryside Fpd Firefighters Pension F brought in last year, or $6.67 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kane County Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, East Dundee contributed $223,583 to the fund, which saw a $1,753 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $33,475, or 13 percent, in 2016.
