Village of South Elgin Committee of the Whole met Dec. 4.

Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

1. Callto Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Village President Steven Ward at the South Elgin Public Services Facility, 1-000 Bowes Road, South Elgin, Illinois.

2. Roll Call

The following were present: Steven Ward, Village President Margaret Gray, Village Clerk; and Trustees Lisa Guess, Greg Lieser, John Sweet, Jennifer Barconi, Scott Richmond and Mike Kolodziej.

Staff present were: Steven Super, Village Administrator; Megan Golden, Director of Administrative Services and Deputy Village Administrator; Kim Wascher, Director of Parks & Recreation, Jerry Krawczyk, Police Chief; Richard Gallas, Director of Public Works and Marc McLaughlin, Director of Community Development.

Also present: Village Attorney, Derke J. Price.

3. Closed Session

There was no Closed Session held at this time

4. Mid-Year Review of the FY2018 Operating and Capital improvements Budget

Steve Supper explained his mid-year budget. Revenue is impacted by the amount of building being done by impact fees and building permits. He also said that interest income has increased. TIF 2 was reassessed ata 4OO% increase. The purchase of the Third Rail was the only item not expected which is paid from the Capital Fund. At the midpoint of the fiscalyear, revenues are at 640/oand expenses at47o/o.

Trustee Kolodziej asked where the Village is at financially compared to this point a year ago. Steve Super said we are a little better off. 5. Adjournment
