Village of Campton Hills Economic Development Committee met April 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

1. Roll Call

Chairman Eshoo called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m.

Present: Members Johnson, Nowicki, Nguyen, D’Aversa, Eshoo, Thompson

Absent: Members Santoro and Schmidt

Also present: Administrative Assistant Johnson

Guest: Ron West

2. Approval of Minutes

Member D’Aversa made a Motion to approve the minutes of January 18, 2017. Seconded by member Johnson. Voice Vote. Motion passes 6-0-0.

3. Holiday Sign

 Sign frozen in ground

 Next year, add a sleeve so it can be removed

4. Future Business Events

 March 8 at Old Towne Pub

 Attorney recommended no Village funds be used for event.

 Chairman Eshoo will reach out to Kiwanis Club to see if they will host a meet and greet with the Candidates for Trustee

 Email suggested questions to be asked of the Candidates at the event

5. Conversation – Facebook and Twitter

 Employee handbook needs to be approved first

 March Board meeting for review and comment

6. Business List Review

 Ongoing collection of email addresses

7. Other Business

 Ron West attended this meeting and would like to join the committee.

 Administrative Assistant Johnson will work to get the appointment on the next Board agenda.
