Campton Hills Community Relations Committee starts discussions on FY 2018 budget

Campton Hills Community Relations Committee met Wednesday, Jan. 11.

To organize and promote local events, build on tradition and history by partnering with businesses, organizations, and individuals to foster community bonds.

MEETING MINUTES FOR THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE OF THE VILLAGE OF CAMPTON HILLS

January 11, 2017 at 7:00 P.M.

Village Hall - Campton Hills 40W270 LaFox Road, Suite B Campton Hills, IL 60175

. Call to Order: Meeting called at 7:08pm

. Roll Call Present: Jim McKelvie, Sue Windland, Norm Turner (by phone) and Jayne Holley. Motion made by Sue Windland to add Norm Turner to the meeting by phone, seconded by Jim McKelvie.

Absent: Carol Stolte and Patty Hoppenstedt

. Approval of meeting minutes from December 28, 2016: Motion to approve the minutes by Sue Windland, seconded by Norm Turner.

. Comments from the Public: None

. Old Business:

. Holiday in the Hills, December 2, 2016-brief discussion post event-Norm emailed Chief Nixon to take down tree lights. Suggestion to add a guest book for 2017.

. Winter Wonders-February 18, 2017-discussion and assignments following the action plan. Flier draft to be developed, final copy to be available for distribution no later than Jan. 20.

. Awards Program-tabled to January 25 meeting

. New Business:

. Annual Budget-Discussion of the FY18 budget. Jim McKelvie motioned to approve the proposed budget, seconded by Sue Windland.

. Notice this month's regular meeting is January 25, 2017 at 7:00 pm, Village Hall Campton Hills, 40W270 LaFox Road, Suite B, Campton Hills, IL 60175.

. Adjourn Meeting: Jim McKelvie motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Norm Turner
