The Village of Hampshire is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of Well No. 13. Sealed bids will be accepted at 234 S. State Street, Hampshire, Illinois until 11:00 a.m. on December 3, 2025. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read.
Digital bidding documents are available at www.eeiweb.com under the Bidding Information tab or at www.questcdn.com by searching Quest Project #9945959. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft payable to The Village of Hampshire, negotiable U.S. Government bond at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by both the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent of the total bid.
According to the contract requirements, contractors must pay employees not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the documents and ensure non-discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
"The Village of Hampshire reserves the right to reject all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding."
Bids may be held for up to 90 days from opening for review and investigation before awarding a contract.
